PAT LOCKHART CLUB SPIRIT AWARD
Award Description
Award Recipients
Patricia Lockhart was a dedicated and loyal supporter of the Kedron Football Club Inc. from a young age.
Over many decades Pat was a Committee Member , Time-Keeper , Junior Coach and any other duties required by both the Juniors and Seniors of the Kedron Football Club Inc.
Pat was a true example of "Club Spirit".
One of Pat's Brothers, John, played in a Kedron Seniors' Premiership side during the 1940's .
As well as recording Goal Kickers in both the Seniors and Reserve Grade games since we were re-admitted in 2006, Pat also recorded the Point scorers, much to our amazement.
It was a Privilege and an Honour for some of us to have worked closely with Pat over the Years .
Sadly, with her recent passing, her Award will be re-named "The Pat Lockhart Memorial Club Spirit Award" . A fitting tribute to a Remarkable Lady who really knew her Football.
RIP Patricia.

Clyde Rees started his Kedron Football journey in 1963 when one of his Brothers, Alex took him to Melrose Park, Kalinga to play in the Under 15 side coached by a Kedron Senior Player, Graham "Piggy" Adams. Alex Rees was also playing Senior Football at the time . Some of Clyde's team mates from that side are still at the Club to this day.
Clyde progressed through the Under 15's , Under 17's and Under 19 Colts Teams and during the Colts year of 1967 he made his Senior Debut on the same day as team mate, Grogan Medallist Kelvin Mills at the Gabba .
After playing in excess of 50 Senior Games , Clyde transferred to Windsor-Zillmere where he played Seniors and Reserves for 3 Years before switching Codes to play Public Service Rugby League and was fortunate enough to be one of 4 Queenslanders selected in an Australian Side. That side toured New Zealand in October 1979 and played one game against a Representative Māori side and winning 18-12 .
Clyde re-connected with AFL when his son, Steven started playing with the Strathpine Swans Under 9's side Coached by another former Kedron player, Robin Nuss and Clyde managed that team until they reached Under 16's.
Clyde then managed the Central Districts Cougars Under 18's Colts who trained and played at Kedron in 2004 and 2005.
From 2006 to the end of the 2024 Season, Clyde has been the Kedron Senior Football Manager with the exception of 2015 when the Club only had one Senior Side which competed in a Friday Night Competition.
